Dream of Laurel - Lyric

1 – 30 – 23

It’s been a strange few days. I’ve been feeling the loss of David Crosby and some last remnants of innocence in this crazy, crazy time.

This song is a reminiscence about the sweet days in the canyon, and all the amazing music that sprang forth from that fertile time.  Even though I was about a decade too young and a few thousand miles too far away to have been there then, I still feel the tug of that magical place.

Anyway, I thought I’d throw a quick, last-minute work tape together, and enter the American Songwriter magazine contest (hello American Songwriter people!).

Hope you enjoy and can hear through the seriously lo-fi recording…bonus points if you can hear my computer overheating while I’m playing and singing it into the voice memos app. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by and listening – drop me a line and let me know whatcha think.

All my love and gratitude, always,

t.
